The annual conference of Społeczne Towarzystwo Oświatowe (STO) took place in Poznan from November 4-6. The conference offered an inspiring mixture of lectures, workshops and sightseeing.
Poznan is one of the oldest towns of Poland and has been a centre of political power in the early days of the Polish state.
As a part of the conference program we visited EduLab. The aim of computer scientists and education experts at EduLab is to research how digital technologies can advance learning processes. Groups of pupils can visit Edulab with their teachers and take part in workshops.
The left image shows elements of the game "Scottie go!" which is intended to teach children the basics of programming.
